Five Feet Apart Movie Review

Hi guys, it’s hmsmarim,

Today I’m going to do a review on the movie “Five Feet Apart”. If you don’t want spoilers then skip to the end of this post, but if you don’t mind, then read till the end.

Five Feet Apart is a Drama/Romantic movie. The main characters are Stella, Will, Poe, and Nurse Barb. Five Feet Apart has many interesting parts to it. Some characters get emotional and the whole film is very serious. It is about Cystic Fibrosis (CF) which is when kids/babies have mucus in their lungs and they can’t breathe well. It can affect your life growing up and you can some people are put on the transplant list for new lungs. When you have CF you have to stay 6 feet apart from other people who have CF because you could end up having that person’s bacteria in you which isn’t good for people with CF.

In Five Feet Apart, many things happen, like, “They have to stay 6 feet apart, but why is it called Five Feet Apart?” Which you can watch the movie to find out why it “changed” from 6 feet to 5 feet apart. This movie was really sad because the characters couldn’t hug or even hold hands, but they have very strong relationships together. They tell each other what had happened in their past and share their emotions. Towards the end, it was very sad and something that should never happen in real life. The very end was incredibly sad and you can reflect on how lucky you are to not have CF because certain things can happen to you.

Some people with CF have seen the movie and don’t think it’s accurate and taken seriously. The movie gives you details to let you know that CF is taken very seriously. People with CF that have seen the movie can reflect what content is right or wrong. In my opinion, I think that the movie producers didn’t want to show what a person with CF goes through because then it would be totally accurate which would seem weird if it is completely correct.

Movie Review

Five Feet Apart was a really good movie from the start and I would rate it a 5 out of 5 because of the content and the detail they put into the movie. I would watch it over and over again. Many people have different opinions and I think that is good because if the producers need feedback, then the different opinions will be taken. It was a really emotional movie to watch and I recommend it to people from ages 12+ because there may contain inappropriate content that isn’t good for younger viewers.

I hope you guys get to watch Five Feet Apart! If you watched it already, let me know how you thought the movie was in the comments below.
